GFW Inc. Women’s Network to honor those who mentor and empower women in Fort Wayne and Allen County
The Greater Fort Wayne (GFW) Inc. Women’s Network will present its seventh annual Champions of Change Awards this spring. Now through March 24, community members are encouraged to submit nominations for the awards, which celebrate those who mentor and empower women in Allen County. The awards will be presented at an awards dinner on May 21, 2025.
“The Champions of Change Awards shine a light on the individuals who go above and beyond to uplift, mentor, and advocate for women in Allen County,” said Meghan Short, Director of Investor Programs at GFW Inc. “Their dedication not only empowers individuals but also strengthens our workplaces, organizations, and the community as a whole. We are honored to recognize their impact and celebrate their contributions.”
Four awards will be presented this year, each honoring an individual making a substantial impact in one of the following sectors:
- Nonprofit
- Corporate
- Education
- Public Service
The awards are given annually to individuals currently working and/or living in Allen County who:
- Demonstrate an unwavering passion and commitment to our community.
- Are role models making a difference in the lives of others.
- Have made significant contributions that have inspired women to succeed.
- Have made Allen County a better place to live, work, and play.
Nominees do not need to be GFW Inc. members for consideration, and individuals may nominate themselves. The nomination deadline is March 24, and nominations must be submitted online.
