Greater Fort Wayne Inc. Reveals Brand Awareness Campaign

Greater Fort Wayne Inc. introduced a new brand awareness campaign today at a press conference held in its offices at 200 East Main Street, Suite 800. GFW Inc. partners and investors were in attendance for the announcement.
 
Greater Fort Wayne Inc. is the organization that unifies the Fort Wayne‐Allen County Economic Development Alliance and the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce, serving as a single point of contact for economic growth and business services in greater Fort Wayne. As the established brands of the Alliance and Chamber no longer exist, GFW Inc. seeks to build recognition of the new organization and its mission.
 
Initial elements of the brand awareness campaign launched quietly on February 10. Teaser billboards placed in ten different locations around the community begged the question, “What Do You Stand For?” with an image of the GFW Inc. window cling on a business storefront. Other components of the fourweek teaser phase included a gobo of the GFW Inc. logo displayed on various investors’ buildings, as well as accompanying social media chatter provided with the help of our partners at the Downtown Improvement District, Visit Fort Wayne, and Living Fort Wayne.
 
Today we want the greater Fort Wayne community to know that We Stand for a Greater Future.
 
GFW Inc. is embracing collaboration and innovation, not only in this campaign, but also in a new approach to provide value to businesses in the community. While the former dues structure labeled contributors as members of the former Chamber, the new, innovative model will designate all businesses that provide support financially as investors in Greater Fort Wayne Inc. This terminology shift is important to the greater Fort Wayne businesses because it underscores a commitment to this community rather than an organization. It communicates that they too stand for a Greater Future.
 
This campaign, which includes TV and radio spots, billboards, print ads and social media, GFW Inc. encourages consumers to look for the GFW Inc. investor logo on storefronts and choose to do business with the companies that display it.
