Deister Machine Company, Inc. is investing in new equipment and employees. The company will purchase two new large CNC lathes and a 750-ton x 24′ long press brake, the largest of its kind in Indiana, according to Deister’s spokesperson. Deister Machine Company will hire 110 new employees by 2018, adding to its existing workforce of 181 employees.

VOSS Automotive, Inc. (VOSS) announced in October 2012 they would be building a new state-of-the-art North American Headquarters in Fort Wayne. The 14 month construction project included the purchase of 9.5 acres of land at 4640 Hillegas Road, on which VOSS built its new 48,746 square-foot facility. Visible from I-69 near exit 309, the building includes 33,579 square feet of office space, prototype and test lab and 15,167 square feet warehouse.
