Susan Wesner, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Susan is responsible for all things financial and accounting, human resources, and office administration, and serves as treasurer for the Allen County – Fort Wayne Development Trust.
She joined GFW Inc. in 2015. Before that, she served for 15 years as senior manager for Baden, Gage & Schroeder, LLC in the assurance (audit and accounting) division where she developed extensive experience serving clients in many industries, and was a leader for the firm in nonprofit and employee benefits audits. Susan has also held accounting positions at private and public companies in Fort Wayne.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University, where she majored in accounting. Susan is a licensed CPA and a member of the Indiana CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Susan is originally from Fort Wayne and is active in the community. She currently serves on the board of directors as treasurer for the Embassy Theatre Foundation and as vice chair of Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana. She most recently joined the board of the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne and serves as the audit committee chair. She is also on the finance committee of GiveHear and a member of FEI (Financial Executives International). Past volunteer service includes Big Brothers Big Sisters, Fort Wayne Urban League, American Red Cross, and United Way of Allen County.
